One reason loan mods are denied.... |
Shortly before Thanksgiving, a person out in California received a letter from Chase Home Finance denying a permanent loan mod under the federal government’s loan-mod program. The bank said it was because their hardship was not of a permanent nature. Such are the perils of pursuing loan mods without professional help from a loan modification company.
It appears Chase is adept at using that reason for denial when dealing only with the homeowner.
It’s hard to say how many others have been denied for that reason, but it appears those who use a qualified loan mod company with attorneys do not have this problem.
Now many of those people have stopped paying their mortgages so they will have enough money to relocate when the bank forecloses.
