BB Speak: From the Editor's Desk |
The response to our new design has been fantastic and our new editorial section, BB Special, has been appreciated by many. I must admit it is a good feeling when hard work pays off. We at BatchBuzz feel ever so grateful that you the reader have taken time to explore what we have to offer.
We have added some new features to our website, the most exciting amongst which is Links where you can share your favourite web pages with fellow BatchBuzz users. It is ideal for those who want to endorse ideas as well as for those who want to share their views but are too lazy to write their own stories! Another helpful addition is the Recent Stories tab which gives you an instant update on the most recently posted stories on the homepage itself.
In this week’s BB Special, we bring to you another edition of the STEP newsletter; this one carries insightful articles on the link between the environment and sustainable city development, rising health concerns in the face of climate change and the condition of internal refugees within Nepal. They also have video links, a quiz section and book reviews. It is a definite must read.
In our newly launched section, Showcase, we present the work of an upcoming photographer, Sarang Sena who with his brilliant eye has managed to catch some pristine moments of untamed natural beauty not very far from Dharamshala. We also have another scintillating feature on Delhi in our City section.
Due to a delay in the release date, we have not yet been able to bring to you the promised feature on ‘Wanted’, the latest Salman Khan movie. However, be rest assured, it will be up very soon.
With the consistent rise in registered members and daily page views at BatchBuzz, those who are looking to express themselves can be confident that they will be heard. So keep writing!
