Katrina Kaif Honored By Assocham |
Katrina Kaif is popular enough to hold the press and who’s who of
Delhi to wait for her entry on the stage when Assocham Entertainment
Committee decided to honor her at Hotel Imperial in continuation to her
absence at 3rd International Entertainment summit last November in
FOCUS.
“A special award has been
constituted “Performer of The Year” by Assocham to honour the most
beautiful lady of the film industry” said D.S. Rawat, the secretary
General of Assocham. “We are proud that
Katrina
has been rated as the most popular performer and as successful women
she is representing now for the cause of upliftment of the women” said
Alka Lamba, secretary of All India Congress Committee.
“Katrina has played her tough innings to reach to this platform, she is
well versed with the reality of life” said Swati Piramal, the President
of Assocham while handing over the award as Prinyanka Vadra could not
make it for the show.
“Katrina Kaif is the only artist in the industry who has given
continuous hits one after another like Namaste London, Partner,
Welcome, Race, Sing Is Kinng, New York, Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani and
immerged as icon for the young generation” said Sandeep Marwah
president of Marwah Studios and Executive member of Entertainment
Committee of Assocham. Later Sujata Dev paid vote of thanks.
